March 17th 2007: ESPN announced that Andre would be playing an exhibition match in Chilie at the end of the month against former world #1 Marcelo Rios, should be a great one:) February 28th 2007: Andre was a spectator yesterday in Las Vegas at the Tennis Channel Open, read about it here. August 31st 2006: Amazing win once more by Andre tonight in New York as he posted a 6-4, 6-4, 3-6, 5-7, 7-5 win against Marcos Baghdatis to advance to the 3rd round, he'll face Benjamin Becker up next...! August 29th 2006: Well, Andre's US Open run did not end as it started after all, he posted a 6-7, 7-6, 7-6, 6-2 win against Andrei Pavel to assure himself a 2nd match in Flushing Meadows! He'll now face #8 seed Marcos Baghdatis! August 23rd 2006: Andre will be unseeded in the upcoming US Open tournament that starts on Monday because of his recent ranking drop... August 15th 2006: Andre also withdrew from this week's event in Cincinnati..."Andre is reluctantly unable to play," tournament director Bruce Flory said in a statement. "He had every intention of playing, but just didn't feel physically right in his practice sessions here. August 6th 2006: Andre was supposed to be playing next week in Toronto but he withdrew .. "I regret to inform Toronto that I will not be playing in the Rogers Cup," Agassi said in a statement. "I have many great memories in Canada and wish you continued success. It's a fantastic tournament." August 2nd 2006: Things went very wrong yesterday for Andre in his opening match in Washington! July 25th 2006: Andre is now playing in Los Angeles and yesterday he won his opening match against Xavier Malisse with a 7-6, 6-0 win! He will now face either a qualifier or Nicolas Mahut. June 29th 2006: Great news for Andre Agassi as he won her 2nd round at the Wimbledon. He posted a 3 set win against Andre Seppi, a 6-4, 7-6, 6-4 win that now puts him up against Rafael Nadal. June 27th 2006: Great news for Andre Agassi as he won her 1st round at the Wimbledon. He posted a 4 set win against Boris Pashanski, a 2-6, 6-2, 6-4, 6-3 win that now puts him up against Andre Seppi. June 25th 2006: Andre confirmed what many of his fans feared... he announced he would be retiring at the end of 2006: "It's been a long road this year for me, and for a lot of reasons. It's great to be here. This Wimbledon will be my last, and the U.S. Open will be my last tournament."
