September 6th 2008: Great news for Roger as today he advanced to the men's singles final thanks to a 6-3, 5-7, 7-5, 6-2 win against world #3 Novak Djokovic..!!! He advances to the final and will face either archrival Rafael Nadal or Andy Murray. September 4th 2008: Roger had a nice run today and was able to finish off his opponent Gilles Muller today, he won 7-6, 6-4, 7-6!!! In the semifinals, Roger will face either Andy Roddick or Novak Djokovic. September 2nd 2008: Good news as Roger won his match today in the US Open as he defeated Russia's Igor Andreev with a 6-7, 7-6, 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 win, he will now face surprise qualifier Giller Muller. September 1st 2008: Good news as Roger won his match today in the US Open as he defeated Czeck Republic's Radek Stepanek with a 6-3, 6-3, 6-2 win, he will now face Russian Igor Andreev. August 14th 2008: Wow, what an upset for Roger today in Beijing as he was surprised by American James Blake, as he lost 6-4, 7-6...“It was one of the goals of the season for me to do well here,” Federer said. “This obviously is a big blow, because I expected more.” August 13th 2008: Awesome win today for Roger as he dismissed Thomas Berdych with a 6-3, 7-6 win to reach the quarterfinals, he will now face either Gilles Simon or James Blake. August 12th 2008: Good news as Roger won his match today in the Summer Olympics as he defeated ESA's Rafael Arevalo with a 6-2, 6-4 win, he will now face Thomas Berdych. August 11th 2008: Good news as Roger won his match today in the Summer Olympics as he defeated Russia's Dmitry Tursunov with a 6-4, 6-2 win, he will now face Arevalo. July 29th 2008: Good news as Roger won his match today in the Tennis Masters Cincinnati as he defeated USA's Robby Ginepri with a 6-7, 7-6, 6-0 win, he will now face Ivo Karlovic. “I’m happy I’m back with a one-match winning streak,” Federer joked. “I’m happy I could turn it around today.” July 21st 2008: Roger is finally back in action in Toronto as he plays the Rogers Cup.
