July 30th 2008: Sad news as Richard lost his match today in the Tennis Masters Cincinnati as he lost to Russia's Dmitry Tursunov 6-7, 0-6.

July 29th 2008: Good news as Richard advanced to the 2nd round in Cincinnati as he won when his opponent Michael Llodra withdrew because of an injury. Richard will now face Dmitry Tursunov.

July 27th 2008: It was well fought by Richard but he came up a bit short after winning a very high intensity 1st set, Richard ended up losing 6-7, 6-2, 6-1 to Rafael Nadal:(

July 25th 2008: Good news as Richard won his match today in the Tennis Masters Toronto as he defeated Spain's David Ferrer with a 6-3, 6-3 win, he will now face Rafael Nadal.

July 24th 2008: Good news as Richard won his match today in the Tennis Masters Toronto as he defeated Russia's Alexandre Kudryavtsev with a 7-5, 6-3 win, he will now face David Ferrer.

July 22nd 2008: Good news as Richard won his match today in the Tennis Masters Toronto as he defeated France's Michael Llodra with a 6-2, 4-6, 6-3 win, he will now face Philip Kohlschreiber.

July 13th 2008: Unfortunately, a bit of a surprise as Richard was upset in the final today in Stuttgart, he lost 6-4, 7-5 to Juan Martin Del Potro...

July 12th 2008: Great news as today Richard was able to win his semifinal match against Augustin Calleri 6-7, 6-2, 6-3 to reach the final in Stuttgart. He will now face Juan Martin Del Potro.

July 11th 2008: Good news as Richard won his match today in the Mercedes Cup, Stuttgart as he defeated Spain's Albert Montanes with a 6-3, 7-6 win, he will now face Augustin Calleri.

July 9th 2008: Good news as Richard won his match today in the Mercedes Cup, Stuttgart as he defeated Czeck Republic's Lukas Rosol with a 6-7, 6-2, 6-2 win, he will  Albert Montanes.

June 30th 2008: Sad news as Richard lost his match today in the Wimbledon as he lost to Britain's Andy Murray 7-5, 6-3, 6-7, 2-6, 4-6.

June 28th 2008: Good news as Richard won his match today in the Wimbledon as he defeated France's Gilles Simon with a 6-3, 6-3, 6-7, 6-3 win, he will now face Andy Murray.

June 26th 2008: Richard did not have to play an entire match today in Wimbledon as his opponent Sebastien Grosjean got injured and stopped playing at 6-2, 6-2... Richard will now face Gilles Simon on Saturday.

May 27th 2008: Well Richard announced he would not be playing in Roland Garros after all. “After practice on Saturday, everything was going fine,” Gasquet said. “In the evening, I started feeling some pain. When I woke up Sunday morning, I felt a strong pain. I could barely put my foot on the ground.“I asked (the organizers) if I could play on Tuesday, but my request was rejected.”

May 19th 2008: Richard has decided to split from French coach Eric Deblicker.."Eric remains my friend and the one who helped me into the top 10," Gasquet, who has won 10 matches and lost nine this year, said in a statement.

April 23rd 2008: Good news as Richard won his match today in the Tennis Masters Monte Carlo as he defeated Belgium's Kristof Vliegen with a 6-1, 6-2 win, he will now face American Sam Querrey.
