Latest News May 5th 2008: Sad news as Richard lost his match today in the Tennis Masters Roma as he lost to Peru's Luis Horna 4-6, 1-6. April 24th 2008: Sad news as Richard lost his match today in the Tennis Masters Monte Carlo as he lost to USA's Sam Querrey 2-6, 6-4, 6-3. April 23rd 2008: Good news as Richard won his match today in the Tennis Masters Monte Carlo as he defeated Belgium's Kristof Vliegen with a 6-1, 6-2 win, he will now face American Sam Querrey. April 20th 2008: Richard was slammed a bit for refusing to play in the 4th match of Davis Cup against USA, read about it here. April 2nd 2008: French media is reporting that Richard will start working with John McEnroe to improve his game... should be interesting! Bolelli with a 6-3, 6-3 win, he will now face Robin Soderling February 10th 2008: Richard was part of the French Davis Cup team this weekend, as the team won 5-0 against Romania! Andreev with a 6-3, 7-6 win, he will now face Dmitry Tursunov or Stanislas Wawrinka December 16th 2007: Richard is still suffering injuries.. he is apparently bothered by a left knee injury and will probably miss the Adelaide tournament to be as fit as possible for the Australian Open... November 21st 2007: Richard was in action today playing an exhibition in Malaysia, he was defeated however losing 3-6, 6-2, 6-3 to Rafael Nadal:( November 16th 2007: Richard was in action yesterday and unfortunately, he did not even come close, he ended up losing 6-1, 6-1 to David Ferrer thus ending his season... November 14th 2007: Richard and Rafael Nadal will be playing an exhibition match on Monday in Malaysia, read about it here. November 13th 2007: Some good news for Richard, he posted a 6-4, 6-2 win against Novak Djokovic to move to 1-1, and he now has a fairly good shot at making the semifinals:) His final round robbin match will be against Spain's David Ferrer! November 11th 2007: Richard was in action today in his opening match in the Tennis Masters Cup in Shanghai, he had a good start but then saw Rafael Nadal come back, he eventually lost the match 3-6, 6-3, 6-4... he's now 0-1...:( November 3rd 2007: Richard's tournament ended as he was defeated by David Nalbandian today 6-2, 6-4... November 2nd 2007: Richard's tournament continues to go well, he posted a 6-3, 0-6, 6-4 win against Andy Murray to reach the semifinals, he will now face Argentina's David Nalbandian. November 1st 2007: Good news as Richard won his match today in the BNP Paribas Masters as he defeated James Blake with a 6-4, 6-4 win, he will now face Andy Murray |
