June 23rd 2008: Good news as Fernando won his match today in the Wimbledon as he defeated USA's Robby Ginepri with a 7-6, 7-5, 7-5 win, he will now face Simon Bolelli. June 12th 2008: Sad news as Fernando lost his match today in the Stella Artois Championship, Queens as he lost to Croatia's Ivo Karlovic 3-6, 5-7. June 11th 2008: Good news as Fernando won his match today in the Stella Artois Championship, Queens as he defeated Russia's Marat Safin with a 6-3, 7-6 win, he will now face Ivo Karlovic. March 16th 2008: Sad news as Fernando lost his match today in the Pacific Life Open as he lost to Mario Ancic 5-7, 6-3, 3-6. March 6th 2008: Fernando's tournament in Las Vegas came to an end, he was defeated by Evgeny Korolev, a 6-3, 7-6 loss:( March 4th 2008: Good news as Fernando won his match today in the Las Vegas as he defeated D. Sela with a 6-2, 7-6 win, he will now face Evgeny Korolev February 3rd 2008: Fernando was in action and he defeated Carlos Berlocq 7-5, 6-0 to reach the semifinals! He then defeated P. Cuevas 6-7, 7-6, 6-2 to reach the final, he then won by default when his opponent Juan Monaco withdrew from the final because of an injury:( January 31st 2008: Fernando continued his road tonight in Vina Del Mar, he took out Diego Hartfield thanks to a 6-3, 6-4 win! He will now face Carlos Berlocq..!! January 29th 2008: Fernando was back in action today playing his opening match in Vina Del Mar, he was solid taking out Paul Capdeville 7-5, 6-3... he will now face Diego Hartfield. January 19th 2008: Sad news as Fernando lost his match today in the Australian Open as he lost to Marin Cilic 6-2, 6-7, 6-3 January 17th 2008: Good news as Fernando won his match today in the Australian Open as he defeated H. T. Lee with a 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 win, he will now face Marin Cilic January 15th 2008: Good news as Fernando won his match today in the Australian Open as he defeated K. Economidis with a 6-4, 7-6, 6-1 win, he will now face Hyung Taik-Lee November 16th 2007: Fernando's season is unfortunately probably over as he lost his final round robbin match against Nikolay Davydenko 6-4, 6-3... November 14th 2007: Fernando was defeated in his 2nd match today in Shanghai, he lost 6-1, 6-4 against Andy Roddick to move to 1-1... he is now very uncertain of advancing...! His final match will be against Russian Nikolay Davydenko.
