Escaped war-torn Bosnia at age 13 in 1992 and was one of the several players taken to Italy by a club that was reaching out to help children... Reached final of Wimbledon Juniors in 1996, losing to Vladimir Voltchkov... Has a 31-15 career Davis Cup record (19-11 in singles) in 18 ties since 1998... Earned a bronze medal in doubles at 2004 Athens Olympics Games (w/Ancic)... Elected vice-president of ATP Player Council for 2006 ... Wife, Aida (married Nov. 8, 2004)... Enjoys scuba diving with his wife and takes diving holidays every year at end of season...
