July 24th 2008: Wow, tough loss for Andy today as he was surprised by world #44 Marin Cilic, losing his match 6-4, 4-6, 6-4:( “Something doesn’t feel comfortable,” Roddick told reporters. “It’s a little bit across the board.“My forehand is just not doing anything. I’m missing it and that’s the one that I need to click right now.”

July 22nd 2008: Good news as Andy won his match today in the Tennis Masters Toronto as he defeated France's Nicolas Mahut with a 6-1, 6-7, 6-3 win, he will now face Marin Cilic or Tommy Robredo.

May 19th 2008: What was feared was finally confirmed as Andy withdrew from the French Open. “Andy is pulling out with an upper back shoulder injury, the same thing that he had in Rome,” said John Roddick, Andy’s brother and the U.S. captain at the World Team Cup. “He’s pulling out of here and he’s also going to miss the French Open, too.”

May 10th 2008: Sad end for Andy's tournament, he was injured, a back injury that forced him to withdraw while down 3-0... “I felt a little something last night in my back when I was getting treatment. Then, one wrong movement and I had a complete spasm,” Roddick said. “I can’t really move my left arm right now. You can’t really play around that.”

April 4th 2008: Wow, tough win..Andy was on such a high but he came up short today, losing 7-6, 6-2 against Russian Nikolay Davydenko...

April 3rd 2008: Wow, just an awesome performance by Andy today, he won 7-6, 4-6, 6-3 against world #1 Roger Federer in the Sony Ericsson Open! With this win, Andy advances to a semifinal matchup with Nikolay Davydenko. “I came in knowing that nobody has beaten me 12 times in a row,” Roddick told the delighted capacity crowd afterward. “So I had that on my side.”
