I said yes but it is because I want to see someone new at the top, I think in tennis no one stays at the top to long. Also, I predicted the end like this last year and everyone thought I was crazy, all of my predictions are coming true. However, I do not think Serena is done yet but she will have a hard time getting back to No1 after the knee heals.

It's probably more like a hiccup than an end. *Clijsters has SO MANY points to defend after the US Open (and she's going be edging near 100 matches for the season by November), it might take a superhuman effort by her to stay #1 (though I'd kind of like to see it since I picked her to finish #1 at the start of the season).  But Henin-Hardenne could end up doing it.

I think everyone knew that the Williams sisters' biggest opponent in the long run might be their own bodies' ability to hold up for an entire season (Serena's only played 12 tournaments this year).

I'm happy that there is more competition at the top. But there are still only 4 who dominate the game. Then you have players like Davenport or Caperiati, then there is nothing and then there are some russian girls. But the difference between the top 6 and the rest is very big. I hope Maria Sharapova will be on the top in a few years time, she always been my favorite anyway. But some more competion on the top of woman tennis should be nice.
