Hello everyone!!

Well in case you're wondering who I am, my name is Pierre Cantin, I am the main webmaster and founder of Tennisrulz. You might be in a hurry and not really want to read through this message but if you have 2 minutes, I'd appreciate you reading this.

Tennisrulz grew at a much faster pace than many could have imagined, only a few years ago, the website was nothing more than a littl page with information about Anna Kournikova and Jelena Dokic because those were truly the initial stars on the network.

Since then the website grew every month and while the message board and the community never was the core, it still grew to be a place where many of you met. Unfortunately, the software used for the board was simply not acceptable in standard and while I do know some about programming, etc, it's something that was quite complex to change. Many people asked for changes in the chat room for example but I always felt this needed to be done first. I even tried to pay some people to do it but the operation was pretty complex for many reasonss and so it was always delayed.

But Friday evening, I was doing nothing and at like 11PM I had a flash...what could I lose trying it myself? Actually, the answer wasn't that hard..i could lose my weekend:) But it was a challenge and so i got to it. And now, it's about 5AM on Sunday, I did get a few hours of sleep Friday night and went out to see some friends and get a few drinks tonight but mostly I've been in front of this computer trying to get this done:) Well it finally looks like it worked:)

So this new version of the message board is I think already an improvement but much more will come in the coming days and weeks as we will try to grow the board and improve its design, etc. Obviously, some people might have problems with this change or complain about it, please PM me if you do, I'm open to all ideas, suggestions or complaints. Anyway, I think it's all for the better, here are a few consequences however:

-your password has not been preserved... you will need to try to log in and then request your password to be sent by email (be sure to click on the link!!!). If you do not remember what email you used or something else, email me at pierre_cantin@hotmail.com with your user name and I'll get back to you. Please use the subject "Tennisrulz" so it does not go to my junk mail.

-your posts numbers were diminished:( All topics that not been used in 1 year had been taken off and the number of posts also was taken down, sorry about that.

So basically, a few bad things now, but beleive me in the long run, this will be a huge improvement!

So thanks everyone for your patience and please send me all comments or suggestions. If you're having trouble logging in, email me!
