Need more net game in women's tennis

Lately I find women's tennis terribly boring to watch, with few exceptions. Seems it's all about the power baseline game, but unlike the guys, the power is rarely that impressive to watch. When is someone going to come along who stays in the top 10 on the strength of frequent net play? Maybe that would equalize the injury tendency that's plaguing the women's tour...it sure would be more fun to watch.

Yes, I mean a few years ago I remember hearing some pros say that the top players would need to go to the net more to take their game to another level... No signs of it happening yet... did you see Daja Bedanova play when she was playing good tennis (like 2 years ago)...she went to the net a lot.
