Are you for or against it?

Roddick suggested that players, like in American football, have the right to challenge a couple of calls in one match, and the umpire would then access the computer calls like we see on tv?
I think the whole Venus issue has certainly launched the debate for a while...

For it, in fact it seems stupid to me that we have the equipment to almost make perfect calls all the time and we still try to have people make the calls. Electronic equipment is cheaper, better and it does not make mistakes. My only thought is what happens if the equipment does not work, will we have equipment delays like rain delays? I am still for it. Humans can not make good line calls as has been the case through out history.

Expeshly on critical points in the match and as long as the Players do not abuse it.
A vidio ref works well in rugby so a simelar system could be used in tennis.
Instead of a second umpire a monitor could be fitted to the umpire,s chair so they can watch the replay and make the desision themselves.
where tv cameras are unavalable vidio monitering equipment could be used.
Courts with big screens could also show it on them.

i am 50/50. Although it would be more fair, and stop important points going the wrong way, it would change the history of the game, and the umpire would realy not be needed. Also it would stop all the arguments and stuff between the umpire and players- which i must say is sometimes very entertaining!
