Since there is not muth happening at the moment I thought I would let you know some nickames I have given some of the players.
I hope you like them.
To start my fave player.
Jelena Dokic-Cinders( Iwould love to be her prince charming)
Justin Henin-Hardenne-Mighty Midget(she is only small but very powerfull)
Williams sisters-Amazon wariors(not to be messed with)
Maria Sharapova-Angel face (looks like an angel plays like the devil)
Daniela Hantuchova-Bamby(with those legs what else)
Anna Kounikova -Princess whanaby-(thought she was a princess wanted to be a tennis player) Only joking!
Have you guys anymore?

Actually, I don't think I've ever used "The Contessa" as a nickname... but I will now! :)
I've been looking for a nickname for Kuznetsova for a long time, and I think that'll work. Except that I'll "Russian-ize" it by changing it to "The Contessova."
It'll make it's debut in this week's Backspin. Thanks for the assistance on that one. :)

Every russian name has a variety of forms which can express all kind of emotions.
There are more than twenty forms of Maria in Russian
The full form - Maria
The shortened form - Masha (used among friends)
Form of affection - Mashenka
Intimate, tender forms - Mashunechka, Mashunya, Marusya
The unceremonious or vulgar form - Mashka

flavia pennetta - flavor flave
catalina castano - the castrator
sanda mamic - mamic hammock
sesil karatantcheva - the sesilnator
nicole vaidisova - nikki v
svetlana kuznetsova - sveta
nuria llagostera vives - n-n-n-nuria (you have to sing it)
