Hello,
It looks like I joined 1 year ago but have not played the game since selected an initial team. I have only yesturday made 2 WTA substitutions and 2 ATP substitutions realising that I am still in the competition for 2006 because I still managed to score 567 points this week in WTA.
#412 / 1634 WTA
#1118 / 1634 ATP
If I reset my team do I lose all points?
Is WTA Whirpool the biggest with 57,000 members?
This is one of the biggest fantasy tennis games on the internet. I believe I can win tennis-pool easily if only I knew how to properly join and compete. I will read the rules again I guess. WTA whirpool is impossible with hotmail and Internet Explorer, too many errors!

Pierre could probably answer this more easily..but no, you don't lose points when you do a team reset... but those are only done a few times per year...
yeah, WTA Whirlpool is bigger I think but not as good if you ask me...
And if you wanna play hard, challenge us all but winning is not that easy let me tell you:)

Hi Terrell, what do you mean by "challenge"?;)
I have heard the term used before in the game but cannot find it anywhere in the rules.
Two things are obvious:
I am very good with womens grand slam predictions.
To do well in the game you must first understand it's strategy.
I know all about the WTA tournaments and also ATP points structure.
What I don't know are the points allocated to teams. Do tennis-pool points work on the same basic principal of defending your team points from the same tournament last year?

No, they work the same way as the new rankings, so only points from the calendar year count...

Will the players have new values already?

Hello.
2007 is almost here, I am looking for a tennis tipping prediction game, or games and have found 2 good ones for WTA related competitions/fantasy games.
http://www.tennis-pool.com/
http://wta206.enetpulse.com/
Considering that Whirlpool is the largest competition (approximately 60,000 players), I should ask if anyone alse has Internet Explorer errors in it? Example: ‘function array reverse’ and ‘fatal error exception’. Does anyone else get this? Or know why I can’t join?
Preferably I am looking for any popular online tennis game which updates statistics and lets you interact by picking players etc. I have found 2 others:
http://atpfantasytennis06.enetpulse.com/
http://www.wtapredictiongame.com/ranking/
Do you know of any other popular online competitions for tennis?;)

Can anyone access 'The Trading Zone' for week 2 of 2007?
Looks like we have to keep the same players as weeks 1. I was planning on making 3 or 4 substitutions before the Grand Slam! Now it looks like I'll be lucky to trade any before then!
BTW how are you going? I have 270 pts for WTA and ATP so far (540 total points with X.Malisse still going strong).;)

My team is shaping up extremely well. I have 4/8 quarter-finalists with the possibility of 4/4 semi-finalists because none of them play each other in the quarters.
On the men’s side, I’m doing exactly half as well with Nadal and Roddick still a chance to play each other in the final.

I'm only 363 on the WTA Tour rankings...wow.

I guess that’s because your either not trying hard or have more important things to do with your spare time. Personally, I’m only in it to test myself but at the same time, I welcome any trash talk. Eg. Aussiefan overtook me as the second highest ranked Aussie in the early rounds (last points update). But it could be a different story now!
I was 59th, slipped to 78th (early rounds), and now I’m expecting to make my top 50 debut and stay there. Hopefully I’ll get ¾ through to semi-finals.
C’mon Sharapova vs Clijsters and Williams vs Vaidisova, end my tournament in the quarters LOL!:p I’m a bit worried about Safarova and especially Peer.

Also I joined late, so maybe that's why.

Yes, I still believe I can win the WTA side which would be 1 of 3 major prizes no? With my consistency and slight strategic improvements I will consider finishing the 2007 end of year championships outside the top 5 a failure.
The game and competition level is great with over 500 serious competitors or 250 at least if half are concentrating on ATP. The rest are late starters or robots. Finishing the Australian Open in 27th position was a very satisfactory start for me, although I could have done better. Now 2 rounds into Tokyo (week 5) I’m up to 20th! Very happy with that but not getting overconfident about next weeks player activity as I put all my eggs in 1 basket for this week’s tier I event.
How consistent will the top 19 be for another 35 weeks?

In my first(?) week I went to 425. I gained 330 points from the AO. I really wish I had joined at the beginning of the season...

Ah anyway they have 4 seasons in a year, so you can start back at 0 soon:) And as for the total year rankings, those missed weeks will have less and less of an impact..
