So if Roger was to lose on grass, who would it be to??? I guess Roddick was the obvious choie in past years, not so much this year…. Maybe Hewitt???

Hewitt is the man on form, but Roger seems to deal so easily with his game. It's difficult to find anyone capable of stopping the guy on grass. I'd rate Federer as the best player the game has ever seen, although this year, despite being great 90% of the time, there have been a few occasions during matches where he just looks lost. How he came through that Nalbandian SF at the French is beyond me.

hmmm yeah I think Hewitt would be the favourite to win if Federer didn,t...but I think he'd need someone else to take out Roger...

Ivan Ljubicic is pretty good on fast surfaces. He wouldn't be a bad outside bet, but the idea of anyone stopping Roger on grass for the next 5 years is just ridiculous. I really don't think he can be beaten.

Good point Glynos about Ljubicic...but about the next 5 years, I'm not so sure, things change so fast....just need a huge server who can hold his serve almost every time...

Federer just doesn't lose against big servers. He always finds a way to neutralise a big server and reduce his game to nothing. It's going to take someone on absolute fire (i.e. Safin at the Oz or Nadal at the French) to stop Federer. They're going to have to swing at everything and make every shot. Federer has been known to go through a few blips when put under pressure, but he always seems to have another game plan capable of winning matches ... except for clay! :D

Well you still have Federer though. But wouldn't it be amazing if Rafa somehow could pull a win? It would be great!

Federer is my 2nd favorite next to Rafa, so either way is okay.

Yeah I mean it was a good final, so I guess we fans were the real winners. I'm happy that Roger won though... now just hoping he can get that 5th in a row...
