Frank, would you say having a good coach is necessary to improve a lot?

Terrell I have been playing tennis just about every day for about 7 years and I have been in over 100 tournaments. I also played on a college team for a year and had the best record on the team.

Jennifer, I think having good hitting partners and trying real hard helps you learn the game of tennis. You need to play a lot and play better people to keep getting better. I think having a good coach is a difficult thing to do but if you find a great person to help you it helps a great deal. Hear are a few things I look for in a person to help me.
1. They like you as a person and want to see you do better and be happy.
2. You feel better and more motivated when you are around that person.
3. You feel good about yourself when you are around that person.
4. They watch your skills and try to show you how you can make your game better.
5. Stay away from those that want you to play the game exactly like they do. This type of person can not be understanding and does not understand your skills and what you are good at.
