Yep, on the whole, North London is quite tatty,
except Hampsted that has huge park Karl Marx used to visit:cool: .
But East London is worse. There are many terrorists.
As you know, they tried to attack US cities like Frorida, Boston, LA by UK jets:(

That was scary. The whole US was in fear. Women weren't allowed to bring any liquid cosmetics on the planes. Really, no liquids, unless you tasted them in front of security. (I heard that about baby food!) It was a weird day. What part of the city was bombed last year? That was sad. :( I watched it on tv all day (on vacation!).

No liquid, same here. UK is small country, but from London to Scotland is very far, so flight is essential for life. Moreover, UK is isolated from continent. It's like our biggest pleasure, travel is destroyed by terrorists:(
The part was bombered is central London, but the biggest damaged area is Kingscross and Russel Square, it closes to North London. At that time, I lived in south London. When I was ready for going to uni, my flatmate told me underground was attacked, so I can't go to Uni. I couldn't understand the meaning, but I saw news on TV and stunned. I walked towards London Bridge. Many people watched the announcement by Tony Blair. English people is usually funny, but they looked quite serious at that moment. They showed powerful attitude against terrorism. About one month later, terrorism was tried again but just attempted.
I heard the news from Jamaican guy at record shop.
The funny thing was I saw a tall caucasian fella was investigated his instrument case by cops:p . But, the shock was huge. We still have been living under the threat of terrorism:(

Life isn't safe anymore, sadly. It's a good thing you're okay though. :)
