Hello everyone!
ok, this is not an announcement, it's more a question or quest for opinion! I'm wondering how much space the ATP should take in 2007 on the board. For example, should it get a few player forums, and also should it get tournament boards?
Tennisrulz was for a long time only about the WTA but personally I've grown very interested in both tours, they have good points about them and I think on the "non-forum" part of Tennisrulz, it's been getting increased exposure and visitors... so my question to you is what do you think?:D

Honestly, no additional space for me. I think this should stay mainly a WTA board.

Hello PierreC,
I’m a male who used to play a lot, I’m much more interested discussing the WTA tour to be honest. TennisRulz is great for this.:)

I think its extremely sexist how the forums only focus on WTA
You know mens tennis is way better than womens tennis

Then why in the PM to me did you say that women's was better/you liked it more?

It's called being social. You love women's tennis and don't like men's tennis so to be friendly I thought I'd say I like women's tennis better.

Men's tennis is a lot better.
That's not being social. That's just saying you like something to please a friend. Sounds like you probably give into peer pressure easily, Sean.

Ok look at this conversation
Eg.1 Scene: At the park
Friend: "Do you like my new jacket."
You: "No I hate it."
Friend: "Have a can of coke."
You: "I hate coke."
Friend: "Let's go to my house."
You: "I hate your house. It's really old and cheap and in a poor suburb."
Friend: "I have to go now. I am going to use my mobile to call my parents to pick me up."
You: "You call that a phone?"
Hmm you're really social Jay. So you would pick that instead of this below.
Eg.2 Scene: At the park
Friend: "Do you like my new jacket."
You: "Yes. I think it's fantastic. I think I'll buy one."
Friend: "Have a can of coke."
You: "Yes please. I love coke."
Friend: "Let's go to my house."
You: "I love going to your house. It is so much fun."
Friend: "I have to go now. I am going to use my mobile to call my parents to pick me up."
You: "I wish I had a phone like your's."
If you ask me I would pick scenario 2.
The point is that if you a social you agree with the person instead of saying what you really think.
You and Davenport obviously need to learn some social skills.

By the way I am learning about peer pressure in health at school. Apparently the older kids in high school like the year 11's and 12's might offer us drugs so we have to tell a teacher or ignore them and say no.

I'm not even going to respond anymore, it's so ridiculous and off-topic.
I think we already have an ATP section and that's enough. I've never seen people request for more ATP.

Unless I'm mistaken, Davenport, you are lost for words and can't think of a comeback for my comment.
Looks like I win :D

I agree Davenport. I can't even respond to his last argument because it's so stupid. Then he even tells us that he is yet to learn how to say no to older teenager, tells me that he isn't worthing arguing with. And by the way, Scernario 2 is the meaning of peer pressure. So please stop being a nuisance around here and let all your disliking for Davenport and your other childish arguments go because it's going nowhere.
I know you're 12 Sean, but do you have to act it. Geez, I don't even think I acted this bad at age 12. Gun6

No it's not. It's being friendly. Peer pressure is when people ask you to do something serious like take drugs, not asking if you would like a can of coke :)
And by the way, Scernario 2 is the meaning of peer pressure.

That's funny because I consider what you said (the quote below in bold) is a reply to this argument.

Not at all! Peer pressure can be anything from drugs to not singing in church because everyone else isn't. Peer pressure comes in all different forms. Wait until high school!

Maybe because I'm 13:mad:
And there's a big maturity gap between 12 and 13? I don't think so bud.

No trust me peer pressure is when you give into how your friends think and act because you think it's the only way you fit in. Sorry, but after being through high school and now being into my college years...I think i got the meaning of peer pressure down.

Well high school is different for the US. You wouldn't be in high school until the year after next.

Not true necessarily Dav. My high school was grade 7-12, I didn't have a middle school. It's different everywhere you are I think.

I've never heard of that. We were actually talking about that in my school and they said in the US, middle school was 6-8 and high school 9-12. Maybe yours was a rare exception?

yes i think you're right. Because i've haven't heard of any schools outside of mine who has no middle school. I do live in a small area though so maybe that has something to do with it.
BTW look how off topic this thread is getting. HAHA oh well:D

In Australia there is:
Primary School - Year 1-7
High School - Year 8-12
That's basically it. They are considering making Year 7 part of highschool in a couple of years.
