Would you agree she is the favourite here? I think she'll love the fast courts in Miami... and she's had time to rest!:D

true, but on American soil Maria has not lost in a long time:)

exactly, and the surface is faster here than Melbourne, which will help Maria a lot

-Zvonareva
-Hanutchova and Kirilenko, if they are in form.

These players have always caused Masha trouble.

hmm yeah quite a few interesting matchups could happen for Masha..:) It'll be interesting since anything less than a semifinal would be a move down in the rankings

Well, from Davenport's list I would say :

-Safina
-Jankovic
-Vaidisova

Ivanovic is I think not really able to stand against her for a long time,but Jankovic as determined as she is nowdays, she can do it...but she had an injury last time, I donno...Vaidisova is hungry also like Maria herself, that would be a cool match to see and last time I saw Peer, she played wonderfully, I would like to see her play more against top players anyway...VAAAA, cannot wait for the matches:)

I agree in a way but I think Jankovic is the toughest to figure out, I tough she would be a little better against the top 4-5 players this year

Yeah...still, I am hoping for her, I really enjoy to watch her play these days.

yeah, Jankovic is very entertaining, it might not help her to be her best though when she gives such a show..

Well in IW Masha barely survived Krajicek 7-6(5), 6-4. She also continued to serve awfully with 11 doubles...

apparently she was feeling ill yesterday evening, not sure if that partially explains or if it was caused by it;)
