it's been a while since Lucie Safarova has played or is it me? I wonder how well she'll be able to play on clay

Clay is her favourite surface.

And yes she was only played five tournaments this year (6 if you include Hopman Cup) because she had a shoulder injury after Paris Indoors and the flue after Miami.

well Lucie certainly delivered in this weekend's Fed Cup tie... not sure on what surface that was but the win over Hantuchova was a very good one!
