2007 Wimbledon
4R: [14] Nicole Vaidisova (CZE) def. [4] Amelie Mauresmo (FRA) 7-6(6) 4-6 6-1
4R: [18] Marion Bartoli (FRA) def. [3] Jelena Jankovic (SRB) 3-6 7-5 6-3
***
Two massive upsets. I watched both matches, and both Amelie and Jelena played really bad. But I am happy. :)

I can't wait for Vaidisova/Ivanovic. So far, Sharapova and Venus is the worst match of Wimby! Misa Krajicek leads Bartoli by a set.
Serena and Justine will be showed delayed.

Serena...?
Misa
Ivanovic vs. Vaidisova

The 2007 Wimbledon Championships
Final: [23] Venus Williams def. [18] Marion Bartoli 6-4 6-1

Congrats to Venus. :)
As for Marion, I am very sad that you lost and it was so lovely how you thanked your Dad in your speech. I hope that one day you will win Wimbledon - you definitely are a great player so I don't see why not!
Btw, Marion is now ranked #11 on the WTA Rankings, if she won the final, she would have been in the top 10 (at #10), but if Marion can play like she did at Wimbledon, I don't think it will be too long until she is in the top 10. :)
Oh, and also, I am now a fan of Marion. :D

You know, to me it's funny. On any given day (when she's in good form) Tati would kill Marion. I definitely think Marion got a little lucky, but she is talented. Tokyo 2006 does not count as Golovin was injured and in bad form. Really weird match that was. Anyway, congrats to Bartoli on a nice run.

No offence, but what drugs are you taking? How can you say "any given day, Tati would kill Marion" when Tati just lost 2R of Wimbledon whereas Marion reached the final beating the World #1 and World #3 en route.
It's as if you are trying to make all of my players look really crappy and your favs - Tati etc. - to look fantastic. Or maybe you are jealous because Marion is so much better than Tati. :D
What does Tati have to do with this anyway?
Just leave Marion alone, she has worked very hard to reach the Wimbledon final and she doesn't want to be compared to people who lost in the 2R.

I was using Tati as an example and because she is French as well.
First off, Tati was playing her first tournament in two months. She took the future fourth-rounder to three sets and looked to be in great shape.
Tati is constantly injured and without these, she would easily be in the top eight. Look at her results and H2H against top players. She may not always win, but they're almost always close.
Marion is not a better player than Tati. She has one great tournament and everyone thinks she is all that..I don't get it. Jankovic was playuing awful tennis, but yes, the win over Justine was great. Venus, as I had predicted, destroyed her.
Also, how could I make your faves look crappy when I have many of the same faves??? I even root for Marion at times.
I think I know what I'm talking about. ;)

Ok but I'm just saying you look a bit stupid saying "Tati could kill Marion anyday" when you look at their 2007 Wimbledon results.
End of argument.

That's true, but you can't really judge that by Tati's performance because of the injury/time off.
Okay, end of argument. Let's not start it again. :D
