Didn't Amelie withdraw? I remember reading that only Daniela and Svetlana were playing (of the top 10).

Got doubts about Vera Zvonareva, Sam Stosur & Serena Williams also. Don't ask me will they? or won't they? because the answer is always the same (to me at least) - time will tell when they start.

Alot of the commitments that get thrown around the internet are BS. It depends on the tournament and it's director, or if you go to WTA World, it depends on that posters reputation points.

There is too many conflicts that can wait. Personally I'm not saying these Tennis Rulz ones are wrong, I only got angry about this subject recently and would appreciate if anyone can enlighten me on it although I seriously doubt it.

They are the official, original commitments.

Mauresmo and Li are out for sure. Zvonareva is probably out. Stosur will probably withdraw as well.

All you managed to explain is that they are the OFFICIAL, ORIGINAL BS’itis’! If you goto the ‘Official Site’ it still lists Serena Williams among withdrawn players above mentioned.

Quite contradictory by any means. It seems nothing much changes regarding the dreaded player commitments on various internet sites.

To me, player commitments = draw being released.

Oh, I forgot about Serena, so you are right.

They are the official commitments, but updated to when Pierre got them...
