Quotes
Justine Henin, 2007 Rogers Cup presented by American Express singles champion:
"Jelena is a real fighter and she's No.3 in the world, and that means she's a really, really good player. And she proved it many times this year. So I was ready for a big fight. She's getting a lot of balls in the court and running a lot, and she's moving so well. It was tough because she was going for the winners as soon as she got a bit more time to come in the court and be aggressive. And it was really tough especially at the end of the match; it was very intense, and it wasn't easy at the end."

Jelena Jankovic, 2007 Rogers Cup presented by American Express singles runner-up:
"I'm tired. It was a very exhausting game. Both of us played very well and there were a lot of great points. It was a high level of tennis, so it was great for fans to see that, and I really enjoyed it. But unfortunately at the end, I couldn't hang in there with her, especially the game at 5-all was quite long. She was the better one at the end for sure. All the credit to her."

Ai Sugiyama, 2007 Rogers Cup presented by American Express doubles champion (with Katarina Srebotnik):
"It's our first win against [Black and Huber], so it was huge for us. They've played really good tennis this year. They already qualified for Sony Ericsson Championships and they're so far ahead of the other teams. So this win gave us a lot of confidence."
