Quotes
Flavia Pennetta, 2007 ptt Bangkok Open singles champion:
"You have to be so focused in finals, but I just kept thinking about her and how she was playing, which helped me. I'm very happy I won the title. I didn't expect to win here. I had to play two great players, Peer and Williams, and hardcourts aren't my favorite surface, so this is a very important victory for me."

Chan Yung-Jan, 2007 ptt Bangkok Open singles runner-up:
"I'm not too disappointed; it was my first final, but I'll have more chances in the future. She wasn't making any mistakes and was hitting pretty hard. I think she deserved it today."
