Bartoli beats up on sick Jankovic 6-1, 1-0 retired.
Jankovic has looked sloppy and slow all week but today she looked ill and complained about breathing problem and congestion of the sinus and nose, she looked tired and worn out. The number 3 in the World has not won a match here and looks to be finished completely in this event, not being able to handle anyone so far.

Sharapova just beat the crap out of Ivanovic 6-1, 6-2. This of course means Ivanovic will face the Championships undefeated and World Number 1 Henin next.

Hantuchova struggled but ended up kicking the crap out of Kuznetsova
7-6(7), 6-0. Nice to see a sweet win after all the hard close matches .

Lol Jankovic is now on a 6 match losing streak!! She'll get a reality check in 2008 and by Wimbledon she will be 7-10 in the rankings.

Stunning win for Masha...great win for Dani. :)

And the wooden spoon goes to...Jelena Jankovic and Svetlana Kuznetsova! Pathetic how the World No.2 and World No.3 don't win a single match during the Championships, going down 0-3!
