Next Week I will be playing my 1st tourny of the Yr At Seguin, Tx! The tournament starts June 13th-15th! Last Time I played a tourny was last yr no other than the seguin open its self! I lost in the SF last year in 3 sets! I was up 6-2 2-0 and just chocked I guess... Anywho this yr I will be playing the Mens open! This wil be my 1st time playing it! Ive played the boys highschool the last 2 times I played! I Hope to win the seguin open once again! I won it the 1st time I played there! I will also be playing mix doubles with my friend Christina! Well I'll update u guys on how it goes! Wish me luck guys!

Good Luck!
Blah with study and stuff I've really not been playing too much tennis lately...I only play once or twice a week now if I have time.
Can you describe your tennis game, Gerald? Like are you a hard hitter, serve-volleyer...whatever? Just interested!
Personally I'm just a ball basher. It can get me to beat some very good players but also lose to some shit ones on a bad day.

My game is a mix of Jelena Dokic and Jennifer Capriati! Im an agressive baseliner! I never give up in a match! Ive had so many battles!

What I ment by I have a mix of Jelena Dokic And Jennifer Capriati's Game Is that Im
Aggressive like Jelena on my ground strokes and returns And have the warrior fight and the speed around the court like Jennifer!
What im not proud of my game is tat my volleys suck! Ive been playing tennis for 8 yrs now and I do hit nice volleys from time to time (like once a yr lol)!
Hopefully I can get some clips of my matches and post them on here :D!

If you want to work on the soft hands and the volley you should play more doubles. I started out as a doubles player and developed a lot of racquet control at the net, in fact my net game was the best around and it is still very good, but I developed as a singles player after being a doubles player, so in singles most guys try everything they can to keep me away from the net because they know I will win most of the time if we are both at the net fighting it out. By the way most singles players hate coming to the net but the truth is you can control the game if you can get to the net a lot.

To be honest I am a very good doubles player! Im super smart on the court! So I kno when and what shots to play! When I see a ball I can volley I do it pretty well! As for singles I come in only when I need to take a ball out of the air! Other than that I WILL NEVER COME IN lol!

My volleys were always shit too, but then I forced myself to come in more in singles and they improved dramatically. How's your serve, Gerald? Mine's pretty good but sometimes I have bad days and do like 10 DFs, but generally only one or two per match.
