Singles - Final
(12) Kateryna Bondarenko (UKR) d. Yanina Wickmayer (BEL) 76(7) 36 76(4)

Doubles - Final
(1) Black/Huber (ZIM/USA) d. Brémond/Ruano Pascual (FRA/ESP) 62 61

Final Facts
- Bondarenko wins her first Sony Ericsson WTA Tour singles title; before this week she had never been beyond the quarterfinals of a Tour singles event, going 0-6 in that round (including one quarterfinal finish earlier this year at Paris [Indoors]).
- Bondarenko is now 3-0 in overall Tour finals, including her 2-0 record in Tour doubles finals (winning at the Australian Open and Paris [Indoors] earlier this year with sister Alona Bondarenko).
- Bondarenko's biggest junior achievement also came on grass, as she won the Wimbledon girls' singles title in 2004 (beating Shahar Peer in the quarterfinals, Michaella Krajicek in the semifinals and Ana Ivanovic in the final).
- Wickmayer reached her first final in only her fourth Tour singles main draw; she played her first three career Tour main draws earlier this year, reaching the second round at one of them (Antwerp) but falling first round at the other two; she took out two seeds en route to this week's final (No.8 Michaella Krajicek, No.11 Casey Dellacqua).
- Black and Huber win their fourth Tour doubles title of the year, following triumphs at Antwerp, Dubai and Berlin; this is their 16th Tour doubles title overall (they are 16-8 in finals now).
- Brémond and Ruano Pascual were playing together for the first time; they took out No.2 seeds and reigning Australian Open champions the Bondarenko sisters en route to the final.

Final Quotes
Kateryna Bondarenko, 2008 DFS Classic singles champion:
"It feels great - finally I have my own title! I didn't expect my first one to come on grass. In the important points against Yanina I was just trying to make as few mistakes as possible. I was trying to move her around but she was still running very well, despite her injury. I'm hoping to do well at Wimbledon, but I'm very focused on this week in 's-Hertogenbosch."
