How popular is Championship manager in your country?? I know its huge in the UK, and havent met a bloke who hasnt played it that i can remember!! And what is your all time fav game that you have played on CM with one team.

Mine would have to be in the dutch league. I was playing glyn, and in 4 seasons, he didnt beat me once, and only scored 2 goals compared to my 22. I had the best squad i have ever assembled (and ive had a few) and he had rubbish. It really was magnificent. Testament to the lad, he didnt run off sulking when i beat him 4-0 away from home with a Kezman double for icing. In fact, im not sure if he has ever finished ahead of me in the many leagues we have ever played. Ah any excuse to tell that story.

<font color='#008080'>That Ajaz game was terrible. &nbsp;I'd assembled a very good squad, and my players just weren't performing. &nbsp;We've not played too many big games. &nbsp;Ususally Matty has to pick the best teams in the league to leave me with some second rate bullshit.

However, might I bring to your attention the Spanish league? &nbsp;Mr Donaldson took control of Real Madrid and even with Zidane, Figo, Raul and co. he couldn't buy a win. &nbsp;A lacklustre league performance followed by an early European exit earned him the sack, whilst my Barcelona was so close to clinching the Champs League and la liga.

I should also mention an Italian game, in which he pipped me by a point. &nbsp;Fair enough, he finished ahead of me, but that doesn't show the entire picture. &nbsp;He was extremely close to administration, clearly not knowing how to handle funds (even with a club as big as Juve). &nbsp;Unfortunately, we can't continue that game because Rich was involved and he rarely comes down. &nbsp;Suffice to say, Rich's side was terrible, so the next time we play it, magnificent Roma will reign supreme.

The bottom line is that Taribo West always signs for me, and not you, mwahaha.

If your interested, ill e mail some people, and see what i can sort out? Course we would need to all be committed or the game would collapse. Any one else interested tho?

And im sure i beat you by a little more than a point in the Italian league Glyn. Granted it was close, but i was toying with you towards the end, and was wrongfully put out of champs league after dominating both legs of my quarter final
I think what we can agree on with that league was how poor Richs team was. How he didnt get the sack i dont know. But for AC Milan to scrape into an Intertoto cup spot is needless to say, more than poor.
And furthermore, the fact that you get taribo all the time is testament to my superiority as a manager. I look forward to your visist this wekend, where my cheltenham team will punish you. And the week after when paveley returns, and is shit at everything he claims to be good at

i dont even remember what issue of CM i got...i just know that after winning 10 leagues and champions leagues in a row i stopped playing and sent an email to the producer giving some hint to make it more realistic....

I think tho that it would help if those who were interested posted they were interested, and what speed their connection is. 56k, broadband etc?

And we also need to decide what league we are gonna play in. I think, Italy, it has the largest amount of decent teams.. SHOTGUN ROMA
