There is a man,
Named Zinedine Zidane,
Whose freekicks are quite great.

When Henry falls,
Like the English walls,
Zidane shows it's never too late.

Barthez is cool,
Beckham's a fool,
And Rooney looks like Shrek,

Zidane and co,
Deliver a fatal blow,
Leaving England in a wreck!

Haha, congratulations to France.

Vive la France!!!!  J'aime beaucoup les Francais.  J'adore Zinedine Zidane.  Il est un Dieu!!  Les Anglais sont tres malodouront.  Je deteste.

Je Deteste? is that not a little strong?

I was hoping to have this conversation online this eveing but on the message board will have to do for now.
Presumably u watched the match, and having done so, you must agree that we dominated the match. We played the best team in the world from the last 10 years off the park last night.
As a fellow centre back, you must understand the basis of such a claim. That you do not need to spend 90 pc of the match in the opponents half to play a team off the pitch. Defending is an important aspect of the game, and last night our defense was outstanding. A team boasting the talents of Zidane, Pires, Henry, Vieira amongst others had ran out of ideas last night against us. I have been told that Heskey took some of the ball, but im not holding onto that claim, as had it been the other end, i would have been claiming a tackle from behind.
Joke all you want. I will not make the easy Welsh joke as a reply. Nor will i come up with the foolhardy 'your opinions are your own' back down. I will simply attribute your post to the desire to appear witty and humourous, because as a fan of football, i cannot see how you can make a mockery of english football after our best performance in years, better even than the Germany game.

And i do have renewed hope for the tournament now also. Im not going to get over excited in the way tabloids normally do, as the image of one P.neville remains in the England squad. However, i think that should we continue to perform as well as we did last night, we will tear apart teams such as Switzerland and Croatia, and will be a very good bet to reach the final. In that respect, maybe defeat last night was not the end of the world in that it will quell the hysteria that would have ensued had we won last night.

And i apologise for the lack of rhyme in this response. Im not in the mood for poetry, and im still in shock from last night
