    Default Sorana Cirstea

This is a 17 year old Romanian tennis play who qualified for the Tier III tournament in Budapest and is in the final where she will play Gisela Dulko.

    GL Sorana.

    Some nice Sorana avatars.

It's amazing how many of the same players we like. I've been following Sorana since the end of 2006.

GL from me too. She's had an amazing tourney!

Too bad. I like Gisela a bit though so I am very happy for her.

I discovered Sorana in the "WTA Top 50 Beauty Countdown" thread on WTAWorld a few weeks ago. Somebody put her as No.1...

I don't really like Tati though. I'm not saying I dislike her I'm just not really a big fan (maybe a minor fan).

We mainly like the same players because we like the good looking players.

Not everybody likes her, but a lot of people do. I just find Tati a bit over the top in terms of what she wears but I do like her a bit.

1R: (4) Ana Ivanovic (SRB) def. Sorana Cirstea (ROU) 7-5 6-3

    ***

I saw about 80% of this match (I missed the first few games) and this was the first time I have seen Sorana play. She has such a big future! She had Ana on the ropes and served for the first set but kind of lost concentration...she was down 5-0* in the second set and fought back well to win three games in a row before going down.

She is definitely one of my top favourites now.

Sorana has a good first serve, her second serve needs a bit of work, she has a very good backhand, not a bad forhand, good movement, good fighting spirit and she has great drive volleys! I think she has a bigger future than her compatriot Olaru...

    Go Sorana!
