June 23rd 2009: Good news today as Iveta won her match in the Wimbledon 1st round posting a 3 sets win against Britain's Katie O'Brien, a 6-2, 5-7, 6-4 win. In the 2nd round, Iveta will face Jelena Jankovic.

June 16th 2009: Sad news today as Iveta lost her match in Hertogenbosch losing in the 2nd round 2 sets against Thailand's Tamarine Tanasugarn, a 6-3, 6-1 loss.

June 14th 2009: Good news today as Iveta won her match in the Hertogenbosch 1st round posting a 2 sets win against Italy's Mara Santangelo, a 6-2, 6-3 win. In the 2nd round, Iveta will face B. Zahlavova Strycova or T. Tanasugarn.

February 8th 2009: Great news as Czeck Republic successfully reached the semifinals of the Fed Cup. Lucie Safarova won her match against Carla Suarez-Navarro and then Petra Kvitova won 6-4, 7-5 against Nuria Llagostera-Vives! They then won in doubles giving Czeck Republic a 4-1 win. They will now face either USA or Argentina in April.
