May 6th 2007: Kim had announced it was coming this year, but she changed her mind and decided to retire right now instead of at the end of the season..."Health and private happiness are so much more important," she said on her Web site Sunday. "It's tiring to get out of bed and to use an hour just to warm up stiff muscles in the morning," she wrote in Dutch on her online diary. "The constant injuries and continual rehabilitation ... it makes it all even more difficult to go on."

May 3rd 2007: Unfortunately Kim Clijsters suffered a 2 set loss in the J&S Cup 2nd round, a 6-7, 3-6 loss..."She hit a lot of aces, a good second serve and kind of had me on my back foot a little bit and always at a little bit of a disadvantage," Clijsters said. "She just played a really good match and was better than me."

April 23rd 2007: It's not a huge surprise but Kim confirmed that Wimbledon would be her last grand slam event, she said she might play in mixed doubles to have a longer tournament:)

March 17th 2007: Kim is about to return to action as she will be playing in Miami next week... She did however also announce she had doubts if she would be playing in this year's US Open... :(
