July 3rd 2008: Elena's great run in Wimbledon finally came to an end today as she lost to the 4 time Champion Venus Williams, a 6-1, 7-6 loss...

July 1st 2008: After jumpring to a quick 6-1, 5-1 lead, Elena had a bit of a scare as she let her opponent right back into the match, but Elena finally closed the deal winning 6-1, 6-7, 6-3 against Nadia Petrova in the 3rd set to reach the Wimbledon semifinals. On Thursday, Elena will face Venus Williams as she will try to reach a 1st Wimbledon final!

June 30th 2008: Good news as Elena won her match today in the Wimbledon as she defeated Israel's Shahar Peer with a 6-2, 6-1 win, she will now face fellow Russian Nadia Petrova.

June 28th 2008: Good news as Elena won her match today in the Wimbledon as she defeated Argentina's Gisela Dulko with a 7-6, 7-5 win, she will now face Shahar Peer.

June 26th 2008: Good news as Elena won her match today in the Wimbledon as she defeated Switzerland's Timea Bacsinszky with a 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 win, she will now face Gisela Dulko.
