July 21st 2008: Ana was on holidays in Mallorca and has just left there towards montreal where she will be playing next week! After that, Ana will head to Beijing for the Olympics, then the US Open, then back to Asia and will end the season in Europe:)

June 25th 2008: Wow, what a close match as Ana won her match today in the Wimbledon defeating France's Nathalie Dechy with a 6-7, 7-6, 10-8 win...it was incredibly close and Ana even faced a match point, she will now face Jie Zheng. You can read some interesting post-match comments from Ana here.

June 23rd 2008: Good news as Ana won her match today in the Wimbledon as she defeated Paraguay's Rossana De Los Rios with a 6-1, 6-2 win, she will now face Nathalie Dechy.

June 11th 2008: Well, Ana had a great reception in Belgrade after winning Roland Garros. See a video here:) By the way, Ana withdrew from next week's event in Eastbourne!

June 7th 2008: Well done today by Ana as she won the Roland Garros singles final, defeating Dinara Safina with a 6-4, 6-3 win! It is her first ever grand slam title and comes two days before she officially becomes the new world #1. More news will follow soon...

June 5th 2008: Wow, what a performance today by Ana Ivanovic as she won her semifinal match 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 against Jelena Jankovic to reach the French Open final for a 2nd straight year (remember last year she lost to Justine Henin), but also, she is now assured of moving to world #1 on Monday in the new rankings!! Congrats Ana:)

June 3rd 2008: Ana posted a very impressive win today in Paris as she knocked out world #11 Patty Schnyder with a 6-3, 6-2 win to reach the semifinals of the French Open! She is now only one win away from the final and from a very good shot at the world #1 ranking. She will face Jelena Jankovic also from Serbia in the very meaningful match ...!!

June 1st 2008: Good news as Ana won her match today in the Roland Garros as she defeated Czeck Republic's Petra Cetkovska with a 6-0, 6-0 win, she will now face Patty Schnyder in the quarterfinals!!!

May 30th 2008: Good news as Ana won her match today in the Roland Garros as she defeated Denmark's Caroline Wozniacki with a 6-4, 6-1 win, she will now face Czeck Petra Cetkovska..!

May 28th 2008: Good news as Ana won her match today in the Roland Garros as she defeated Czeck Republic's Lucie Safarova with a 6-1, 6-2 win, she will now face Caroline Wozniacki.

May 14th 2008: Sad news as Ana lost her match today in the Rome as she lost to Bulgaria's Tsveta Pironkova 4-6, 7-5, 2-6.

May 13th 2008: American magazine FHM made a list of the 100 sexiest women alive, and Ana made the list! She is #23. Maria Sharapova(#30) and Anna Kournikova(#81) are other tennis players that made the list!
