July 25th 2003: After finishing off a nice 6-4, 6-1 win over Sandra Kleosel, Maria was unable to get into her rythm in her second match of the day losing in straight sets against Vera Douchevina.

July 23rd 2003: Maria advanced to the second round in Austria when Angelika Roesch stopped because of an injury while trailing 6-1, 3-1.

July 22nd 2003: Maria is back in action this week as she plays a 50K event in Innsbruck, Austria. In the first round, she faces #8 seed Angelika Roesch.

July 15th 2003: Maria lost her opening match in Modena, a 6-1, 6-4 loss:(

July 14th 2003: Maria is in action this week as she entered the 50K event in Modena, Italy. She has a tough first round as she will face Christina Torrens-Valero.
