July 13th 2008: Anastasia continued her road in Zagreb, she defeated Maret Ani 6-4, 7-6 but then lost 6-3, 6-2 against Petra Martic in the 3rd round...

July 10th 2008: Anastasia was in action in her opening match in Zagreb, a 75K event. She won 5-7, 6-1, 6-0 against Neda Kozic. She will now face #2 seed Maret Ani.

July 7th 2008: Anastasia was in action in a 25K event in Torun as the #1 seed! She won her opening match 6-4, 6-3 against Michaela Pochabova and then 6-4, 7-5 against Ana Savic. But Nastya then lost her quarterfinal match 6-1, 6-2 to Ksenia Milevskaya.

May 21st 2008: Sad news as Anastasia lost her match today in the Roland Garros, Qualification as she lost to Hungary's Greta Arn 3-6, 1-6.

May 11th 2008: Anastasia continued her road, she won 6-3, 6-2 against Alexandra Dulgheru and then reached the semifinals when her opponent, Stephanie Vogt retired while Nastya trailed 3-6, 4-3 but she then lost 6-4, 6-3 to Sonara-Mihaela Cirstea...:(

May 7th 2008: Anastasia is back in action playing in the Bucharest 50K event. She won her opening match 6-3, 6-4 against Elora Dabija.

May 4th 2008: Anastasia continued her journey, this time her opponent got injured and was unable to finish, Nastya was up 5-0 but unfortunately she was then defeated 6-2, 6-3 by Stephanie Vogt...

May 3rd 2008: Anastasia continued her progress, she won 6-1, 7-5 against Sandra Mamic and will now face Liana-Gabriela Ungur..!!

May 1st 2008; Anastasia is now playing in a 50K event in Makarska, she won her opening match 6-4, 6-2 against Masa Zec-Peskiric and then 5-7, 6-4, 6-2 against Kristina Barrois! Next up is Sandra Mamic!

April 14th 2008: Anastasia was in action in the Estoril Open qualifying, she lost 6-2, 6-0 to A. Hlavackova in her 1st match....

March 27th 2008: Sad news as Anastasia Pivovarova lost her match today in the Sony Ericsson Open as she lost to Ai Sugiyama 3-6, 6-7.

March 14th 2008: Anastasia lost her 1st round match in Indian Wells yesterday night, she lost 6-4, 6-3 to Evgeniya Rodina.

March 9th 2008: Great news for Anastasia as she received a wild card for next week's event in Indian Wells, a major WTA event! Best of luck:)

February 22nd 2008: Sad news as Anastasia lost her match today in the Regions Morgan Keegan Championships and the Cellular South Cup, Qualification as she lost to C. Scheepers 5-7, 3-6.

January 23rd 2008: Anastasia was in action last week in a 25K event in Florida. She won her 1st match against #1 seed Varvara Lepchenko 6-2, 6-2 then her 2nd round 6-2, 7-6 against Corinna Dentoni and then Anastasia won 6-4, 6-3 against Allie Will but then lost 6-3, 7-5 to Angela Haynes in the semis...
